Please Note: Caravans and trailers over 6m must phone to book and cannot book via the internet. Tariffs listed as "Pay on board" are only available to passengers paying on departure.


Booking

Pentland FerriesPentland Ferries Booking Offices are situated at St Margaret's Hope and Gills Bay ferry terminals, this allows us to provide an up to date service and to let you know of any news that is relevant to your crossing, as well as local information.

We believe booking and travelling with us should be as easy as possible, therefore we recommend you book by telephoning our booking offices based at Gill’s Bay and St Margaret’s Hope.  You will be guaranteed a friendly and personal service from either office.

If preferred you can email us to make your booking.

We ask you to be at the ferry terminal 30 minutes prior to sailing time and you do not need to check in, payment is made on board or you can pre pay by booking over the internet, we accept cash on board. If you wish to pay by card then you must call into the ferry office at either Gill's Bay or St Margaret's Hope one hour before sailing.

We do not charge for amendments or cancellations. Internet bookings will be charged a cancellation fee if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

Vans, commercial vehicles and freight must contact our booking offices in order to obtain a quote and make a booking.  Vans, commercial vehicles and freight cannot be booked via the internet.

Please Note: Under 16's are not allowed to travel on the ferry unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
